While every LED that produces as little as 2,000 millicandela (mcd) of light is billed as "high intensity", the ASAP uses extremely high intensity LEDs chosen for their luminance and wide viewing angle.

Each individual brake, tail and turn signal LED on the ASAP puts out a specified 10,000 mCD of light.

 

Some LED 1157 style twist-in replacement bulbs only put out a total of 27,000 mcd of light.

27,000 mcd  or  420,000 mcd?

Reddish hue on license plate in photos is due to over-saturation of the camera's CCD image sensors from the brightness of the ASAP.
